Our desire is to teach creative expression, teamwork, and perseverance to the next generation. We want young people to experience the joy of a completed collaborative work, and to have it celebrated by the community. Through the learned skills of story writing, filming, acting, directing, and editing, they will learn to cultivate their imagination and materialize it into a short film.

The program will consist of eight classroom workshops over a four-week period in July. During this time, students are learning the basics of filmmaking while simultaneously working on their project.

Teams of 1-2 made up of grades 7-12, will compete for the grand prize. Films are to be presented on premiere night, July 19 at the Lincoln Theatre in Limon.

Films are to be 3-7 minutes long and are to be rated by a panel of judges.

There are two possible themes for each film: “Edge of your seat" or "Jaw dropping mystery"

Friend: $100.00 - Name shown on screen.
Supporter: $300.00 - Friend Package along with personal introduction to the crowd and name on banners.
Partner: $500.00 - Supporter Package along with a 10 sec. commercial spot shown at premiere night and to be kept for publicity.
